Peter McKay refers to ex Belinda Stronach as a "dog" -in the House of Commons

McKay, Foreign Affairs Minister who most recently was the subject of salacious gossip when Condi Rice was in town, is apparently still pissed at one-time Conservative leader candidate and ex girlfriend Belinda Stronach. (She dumped him when she crossed the House and strolled over to join the Liberals)

The debate was sparked on Thursday when Toronto-area Liberal Mark Holland jokingly asked Mr. MacKay about the impact of pollution on humans and animals: “What about your dog?”

“You already have her,” Mr. MacKay is said to have responded.

Mr. Holland and a handful of parliamentarians say they heard the comment, and saw Mr. MacKay motion towards Ms. Stronach's empty seat, but as is often the case with parliamentary asides, the comment does not appear in Hansard

I wonder if Tie Domi's gonna fly to Ottawa and punch out Peter McKay.

That's one of the best stories in recent Canadian political history. Stronach was crying last mont about the 'double standard' women face by being called a **** ... for breaking up a marriage. But it's been reported that it's the second NHL marriage she broke up.

Plus, if a guy did do a girl what she did to MacKay, he'd be called a dog. Fair's fair, then, right? No double standard anymore, Belinda!

She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth and Daddy (Frank Stronach of Magna Corp) handed over the keys to his corporate empire although she had no experience in running anything other than a credit card.

She's not particularly bright --at least publicly--but she seems to want power for the sake of power. No credible opinions on domestic or foreign policy but her blondness, really expensive clothes and dating high profile men keep her in the news.

Hell, we had a good looking blonde female PM for about six months--Kim Campbell. She was smart as hell, funny and exuded warmth. Unfortunately she caught the wave of anti-Mulroney sentiment and was turfed.

All Belinda exudes is entitlement and dumbness.

I've seen Kim Campbell on "Real Time." and while I would not call her glam, she has a mature grace and wit that's pretty attractive (despite it being entirely lost on Maher, given his taste in women).
