Another flop like this just confirms how impressive it is that Dejan Kovacevic--warts and all--has managed to turn DK Pittsburgh Sports into a long-lasting success. (I probably just hexed it and him, sorry)

Those 'warts' were ALWAYS going to happen with a company starting up an entire concept from scratch. We made some really regrettable hires early amid a big rush -- Penguins winning Cups and all -- and took a while to figure out what the heck to do with an actual business.

And no, we're doing great in our 12th year, but thanks, man.
