Huge storm moving through my area. A tornado supposedly touched down in my hometown, but i don't know exactly where. The power is out at our paper, but thankfully got everything out before it hit.

I saw that our friends in Jackson, Tenn. got hit especially hard. Barely got a blip of coverage on the networks. Best wishes to those affected.

I can't edit posts on my phone. Sorry. As for an update, i drove around town with two guys i work with taking pictures and surveying the damage. I have never seen this many people out and about at this time of night in this city. And cops like i have never seen are crawling all over town. One school in our area has major damage and has shut down for tomorrow. Don't know much about my hometown, but everyone in my family is safe.

Far as i know, everyone has been law-abiding citizens. Although one guy did ask if we were looters.

i knew guys in high school that'd just come out and ask young ladies for sex while at a party or whatever. their theory was "if you don't ask, you don't know." don't remember either of those guys ever getting laid, but it does seem like a viable theory.

Not around those guys. They, according to my boss who spoke to them, said they were big guys who looked like they had been in the military. One even picked up a huge stick when he posed the question.
