The AP said:
MIAMI - The family of Ron Goldman has purchased the rights to O.J. Simpson's canceled book, "If I Did It," from a court-appointed bankruptcy trustee in a settlement reached Monday. The book rights will be held in the name of Ron Goldman LLC, Goldman family attorney David Cook said.

Goldman was slain along with Simpson's ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, in 1994. The former football star has maintained his innocence. He was acquitted of murder, but Goldman's family won a civil wrongful death case against him now totaling more than $33 million.

"Ron Goldman LLC will own Simpson's name, likeness, signature and story and will hawk it to satisfy this terrible judgment. Justice has arrived in Miami," Cook said.

The Goldmans own the copyright, media rights and movie rights. They also acquired Simpson's name, likeness, life story and right of publicity in connection with the book, according to court documents.

The Goldmans want to rename the book "Confessions of a Double Murderer" and plan to shop it around, Cook said.

MUAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

whatthe hell... OJ owes them the money...why not... his reputation was **** anyway

If this gets the Goldmans their money, I'm all for it. ****, I'll probably buy a copy to help out.

If they do anything with the proceeds other than donate them to charities (perhaps to help battered women?), I'll lose any sympathy I ever had for them.

They (rightfully) said they were disgusted that OJ would profit off the death of their son and now they're looking to do the same?

Sorry, but money won't do anything to ease the pain of losing a child to violence and to pretend this is some sort of emotional victory for them is disingenuous. I'm glad they got the rights. Now they should pack it all away and try to move on. Selling movie rights to the story of how O.J. murdered your son might be lower than the killer himself trying to profit from it.

Leave OJ alone. Hasn't he paid enough in this world?
What ****ing stupid thing to say. Gets away with double murder, and in return gets to live out a long life on Florida golf courses without working living off income that is untouchable despite the civil judgment against him. Yeah, he's "paid enough."

You weren't there. Neither was I. The man was aquitted. Let it go.Vengence is mine sayeth the Lord.

You weren't there. Neither was I.

But about 23,000 pieces of evidence linking O.J. to the murders were left there.

Or about 22,997 more than is typically needed to convict someone.

But he was found responsible.

Doesnt matter if you were there or not. There's a civil judgment against him and that's what this is about.
So no, he hasn't paid enough. He hasn't paid any -- which is why they have the book.

There are times I really think Boots is contrary for the sake of being contrary.

Not to mention DNA evidence that was so overwhelming it was ludicrous.

Contrary wouldn't have been the word I would use, but your idea works too.

NO! NO! NO! Contamination! Cross-contamination!

Everyone knows that if you take the real killer's DNA and contaminate it then the results come out . . . Simpson!

At least that's what the defense was able to convince 12 brain-dead people of.

12 brain dead people and, apparently, boots. Or I guess that would just mean 13 brain-dead people.

What's contrary is that I don't believe he did it. He was exonerated. Let it be.
