I'm placing the over/under on suckitude at The Magic Hour. I'm taking the over.

Whoa, a television show with ESPN personalties voicing their opinions on the latest and greatest sports news. This is practically unheard of. I can't believe someone didn't think of this sooner.

Didn't they already try this with Jay Mohr? Wasn't it an unmitigated disaster?

I was being sarcastic, sans blue font, because it sounds just like PTI, Around the Horn, Cold Pizza, First Take, First and 10, every feature on Sportscenter, Outside the Lines, certain ESPN News Features, the Sports Reporters, NFL Live, Baseball Tonight, Nascar Now, NBA Tonight, NHL Tonight, College Football Live, College GameDay, Big Monday, NFL Countdown, and any more that I might be missing.

I wasn't responding to your post, just pointing out that ESPN already did a "late-night sports talk show" a few years ago, and it sucked. Some short memories in Bristol.

From the article: "ESPN 2's late night slate is currently something of a TV wasteland, with shows ranging from coverage of streetball to a NASCAR wrap-up show."

OK....So, if ESPN2 does this, won't it just be a bigger demonstration of more waste?

Here are my suggestions for the names and hosts for this new show.....

"The Boo-Yah and other tired hip hip cliches hour" featuring DJ Stuey....

"The look at me, look at me, I can be louder than you! hour" featuring Chris Berman

"The ****-off to all the Catholics hour" featuring Dana Jacobson

"The ugliest man on television hour" featuring John Clayton

"The biggest geek in a profession full of geeks hour" featuring John Clayton

"The White Aryian Nation loves me because I'm an angry white male hour" featuring Sean Salisbury

"THE SCREAM AND YELL AND HAVE NO CLUE WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT HOUR," featuring Screaming A. Smith

"The listen to me shamelessly name drop for an hour" featuring Dan Patrick

"The watch as I make up **** and pass it off as fact hour," featuring Mitch Albom

"The my kid sucked and got cut so I had to create a baseball team for him hour," featuring Mike Lupica

"The let's talk hockey and try, unsuccessfully because I am a white suburban soccer mom, to sound hip and cool by using phrases I don't really understand but must of heard by watching Moesha with my kids hour," featuring Linda Cohn

ESPN makes an announcement about a late night show.

Jay Mariotti quits the Sun-Times.

Coincidence? :D

This POS show is screaming for Mike and Mike as the fill-in hosts.

One's fat, the other one's gay!

I hope whoever they sign gets a long contract because the show will be off the air in three months...

Maybe they should just show some sports. I know it sounds heretical.
