does this mean Fox won't have a three minute commercial break in between the first three innings?

Shame on you, Rhody. Both for posting the name Obama outside the politics thread, and for not commiting the site to memory before posting a new thread.

Obama's messing with deadlines. That's it. I'm going Republican.

I don't think this is a political discussion - moreso of is the network going to make the time up to viewers ...

Well, since the game would likely start at 8:22 p.m. under the previous schedule, I would say no.

You think Fox cares about its viewers?

You think MLB cares about its ticketholders?

Sports and TV executives who will do anything for the almighty dollar. I'm shocked, I tell ya. I never thought we'd see the day . . .

In the interest of fair and balanced reporting, Fox will also air a half-hour program titled "Obama: The Anti-Christ" in place of "Kitchen Confidential" on Nov. 3.

God dammit!

Now I'm going to have to reset my Tivo!

Here's what happened, in my opinion. FOX realized that they were looking at a Phillies/Rays World Series. They can't sell that for ****, even though it will be good. Even worse, FOX has delivered awful ratings (nationally) in all three debates. No one watches them for political programming. But they will still take the $1 million for half an hour. If Red Sox/Dodgers were playing, this never would have happened.

Fox didn't show last night's debate.

And what's the deal with the caps lock when typing Fox?

I'm sorry, you're correct. FOX didn't show last night's debate. But I reiterate that the previous two debates delivered awful Nielsen numbers. And I stand by my rationale. I caps FOX because I worked with them for years...it's just habit...I saw it written that way for years.
