ESPN Classic, from 1974. On right now.

Of course, by game's end it's going to be 55-24 USC. Gerry DiNardo just threw a good block on the last Irish touchdown -- which will be the last Irish touchdown of the day.

How can this be? I mean, the great Notre Dame, losing. Sorry, I really don't hate Notre Dame that much, but for some reason this week, I seem to be getting an incessant hatred from them every time I come around here. :)

Touchdown Trojans! And yes, the sweaters looked better then then they do now.

I taped this game on ESPN classic. I watch it up to Notre Dames last TD because after that I cannot watch the rest.

Watched that game with a lady who's a HUGE Irish fan.

I did crack a smile, the second half.

That's because most cheerleaders don't have boobs anymore, or at least according to my dad harkening back about the good ol days

I remember watching this game while home on Thanksgiving break during my junior year. I quit watching in disgust after ND went ahead 24-0, but my little brother, a huge SC fan, kept watching and started screaming when AD began scoring TDs left and right.

I returned and reveled in the comeback. SC had the ball inside ND's 10 when the game ended, as I recall. Should have scored again.

Woody Hayes is the color analyst in the booth with Keith Jackson.

Imagine that, JD.

As far as Jackson was concerned, Woody Hayes never punched Clemson's Charlie Bauman.

I ain't buyin' his story that he never saw it. What a crock of bull****.

Spoken like a true Irish fan!

Keith Jackson just said the halftime show featuring the USC band will showcase Bob Goulet as the guest performer.
It was at that point that Elvis shot out the TV

Go ye and do likewise.

My father made us boys go to church with our mother at the half. Said the game was over. We got home and we were so disappointed that we did not get to witness the miraculous comeback.

It was the last time we ever had to go to church with her. It then became my younger sister's duty when sports clashed with religion. I never got to see AD dance on the IRISH.

Good to see him healthy after the surgury. He was getting as big as a house.

Is this your "pretend I'm not a Notre Dame fan" persona, even though every thread you start is to prove the unstoppable force that is Notre Dame?

There has always been a rumor about that game that the ND players lead by FB Wayne Bullock had words with Ara at halftime and pretty much quit on him.

If this is about the game over the weekend then ur mind is screwed up. seriously, Notre Dame is not that good. they can't beat USC by that much or even shut them out. USC is too good for that and their coach is too good to allow them to get shut out. but!! notre dame will win because of Brady Quin. I say they'll win 24-20. i'm new to this site used to write for other websites have fun
