This didn't seem to get much attention over the weekend. There was no thread here, surprisingly.

But Second Amendment rights were exercised by a woman's ex-husband this weekend in Plano, Texas.

I think it is vital to keep in mind that the alternative is gunpoint robberies during a hurricane, as happened in St. John.

I work at a newspaper. Guarantee I've read more about this story than you. But yes, I do care about babies being killed. We can't agree on everything.

This is the most pedestrian of mass killings. A man killing a woman and anyone else within reach because she left him. Happens in all cultures everywhere. Our society continually passes laws to make homicidal rage easier to carry out than do most others, but not all others.
