Yup. This is the perfectly horrible move to hand all the sports coverage to the Post - in what used to be at least a strong four-paper area.

But NYT is now The Athletic and not concerned with NYC coverage ...
And the Daily News wants to, but suffered from corporate idiocy ...
And now Newsday ...

(Yeah, didn't even mention the Bergen Record - RIP S-P - but bottom line is the Post now has it all because the others are cheap and/or stupid.)

NYC needs a sports-only newspaper that covers primarily local, but also has national writers.
