Got this link sent to me this weekend from someone who only has one post:

http://thesportsdesk.org/forum/index.php?topic=5222.0

Did others?

It's pretty humorous, actually. I laughed a few times.

That's pretty funny, though.

I know a lot of people got their feelings hurt, but that whole board faction war that dragged on for so long was hysterical.

People stormed off and started their own board. People talked obsessively about the other group.

Such melodrama.

Now, people are just leaving... We've lost some really good regulars in the last several months...

The PM was definitely a blast from the past.

Maybe it has been caught in transit all this time. Like the WWII widows who you hear about from time to time receiving a letter from the front 70 years later.

More likely you've attracted a stalker or two. Seems kind of cowardly.

Nothing lasts forever.

Yeah, there have always been people who come and go, but in the last year there have been several where as soon as I realized they were gone (sometimes months later...) I thought, "Wow, it sucks that person is no longer on here..."

When one person stopped posting here, I thought, "Well, that person is pretty high-profile now, so maybe it's a good idea that they're not on here anymore." Even though that person was someone who never really posted anything controversial. And, to be perfectly honest, I have no idea why they stopped.

A couple of the recent departures have been more surprising.

I didn't realize the other board still existed until this morning. I posted there a few times in the very beginning.

2005 isn't walking through that door.
