Hope this isn't a d_b.

Including this one:

2B - Joe Morgan
A Hall of Fame second baseman, Morgan ingested so much cocaine into his system during his heyday that he is now nothing more than a walking invalid who was given a job broadcasting baseball simply so millions of Americans could laugh at him every week. With some of the **** that comes out of his mouth, he is a poster child for the harmful effects drugs can have on your mind and a walking reminder of why kids should just say no.

Yeah, I can hardly believe nobody has already posted this obscure blog with nothing of interest.

If you're serious about an all-drug (modern era 1970s-present) team, here my offering:

C -- Benito Santiago
1B -- Keith Hernandez
2B -- Allan Wiggins
SS -- Tony Phillips
3B -- Dale Berra
OF -- Dave Parker
OF -- Darryl Strawberry
OF -- Tim Raines
DH -- Rafael Palmeiro
SP -- Vida Blue
SP -- Ferguson Jenkins
SP -- Dwight Gooden
RP -- Rod Scurry
RP -- Steve Howe

Fergie Jenkins was on drugs? Must have missed that memo.

Paul Molitor would be my third baseman or DH.

From baseball-reference.com

Ferguson Jenkins became the first player in baseball history to be permanently suspended from baseball for a drug related offense. Jenkins was arrested in Toronto, ON on August 25, 1980 for possession of cocaine. Fourteen days after the arrest, Commissioner Bowie Kuhn banned Jenkins. In an unprecedented decision, an independent arbitrator reinstated Jenkins on September 22, 1980.

I forget. Is Mastercard honoring this group before Game one or two of the World Series. Will Jim Gray be doing on field interviews.
