Midwest earthquake??

I felt the quake last night, although my building didn't shake as much as it did the other day.

I was watching "Slap Shot" when my couch started shaking. It lasted for about five seconds, and then it stopped.

Wait-a-minute. You were watching "Slap Shot" and didn't alert the board?

So, are these warmups for a main event or aftershocks from 1811-12?
I'm a little bit of a nerd about the New Madrid quakes and some geologists argue that the 1811-12 quakes were so big that what people feel now are aftershocks from them.
What's most likely to happen if the New Madrid pops big again is that the delta soil will collapse since it is all basically silt and the delta will flood and a new great lake will be formed in the middle. One bank will be Crowley's Ridge that runs through east Arkansas and the other bank will be somewhere in West Tennessee.
St. Louis will be gone. Memphis underwater. Paducah/western Kentucky will be an island. Little Rock will take big damage further west. Most of the Arkansas/Mississippi Delta will be underwater. It will wreck havoc on the rivers that run into the Mississippi so the Ohio Valley as far as east as Cincinnati will be seriously disrupted, as well as the Arkansas.
The Tennessee River goes into the Ohio and it will be disrupted, so places like Florence and maybe even Knoxville will feel the quake's impact with flooding and such.
Commerce across the country will be hit hard. Interstates 40, 55, 57, 70 along with the proposed 69.
Country buster.
Just hope it never happens.

To get to Knoxville, you have to go through Chattanooga. Sure you don't have it reversed? (Which would suck because getting rid of Knoxville is a far nobler goal than Chattanooga...)
