Microsoft patents 'Avoid Ghetto' feature for GPS

Apparently, they will add the latest crime statistics to the process of determining your route:

I've seen an awful lot of complaints about GPSs not taking this into account, so I guess it's a good thing. They could've avoided using the term "ghetto," though.
