Public radio reporter from Alaska quits job because town stumbled up her personal blog that made fun of certain aspects of Dillingham, Alaska.

The reporter will likely have a hard time getting a job in journalism unless it's the Huff Post. She doesn't seems to bear a grudge in her personal blog.

Maybe you should shut down your twitter because of what Kid Rock says.... he's not a fan.

Wow, Kid Rock and I agree on something.

She blogged about whether she should cut off her toe. Sounds like perfect SportsJournalists.com material.

I say cut it off. If someone offers to cut off their own appendage, always say yes. It makes for a great story to tell your kids.

Sigh. When are people going to realize that what you put on the Internets can be read by anybody in the whole ****ing world?

After reading the story, I'm not so sure she isn't as fd-up as the people in that town.

Exactly. Which makes all this blogging about as useful as talk radio background noise.

The snooty big-city reporter writing snottily about the local yokels. Always goes over big. :o :o ::) ::)

This guy could have told her 15 years ago how this was gonna turn out:

$40 grand for 7,000 listeners?

wow. Alaska must suck.

In a place like Dillingham, $40,000 spends like $25,000-30,000 in most normal U.S. towns.

I worked with a guy that posted on his blog how he hated our boss and wanted to break a broom handle off in his you-know-where. It was pretty graphic, actually.

Surprise, he was fired within the week.
