Pertaining to Mario Lopez, I could care less about his dancing.

His abs on the other hand, mmmmmmmm.

What about THE BIG CONTROVERSY???
http://blogs.mercurynews.com/aei/2006/09/dancing_with_th_4.html

Mario Lopez, so-far the best celebrity dancer on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," was on the Ellen DeGeneres Show today (Tuesday) and tried to fan away all the smoke hovering around allegations he had more dance experience than he's let on.
...
Ellen: So tell me what happened? You said you had not taken dance class before?

Mario: Thank you for giving me the opportunity to clear this up. I was so nervous when I got there. Right? It was live … it's like the Olympics. When she asked me, I thought she meant, like, formal and ballroom dancing, which I've never ever done. Now, when I was little kid I didn't come from exactly an upscale neighborhood and I was a little hyper and to keep me out of trouble my Mom put me in a bunch of stuff … karate lessons, sports and some dance classes, when I was young, you know? . . . Doing the cabbage patch isn't going to help you with the foxtrot, you know what I'm saying? So, when asked on the show, I thought she was asking about formal training, and it was all a blur and sort of surreal … but we're talking like over 20 years ago.

Hmmmm ... sounds kinda wishy-washy to me. "Some dance class''? Define "some,'' please. Come on Ellen … take off the kid gloves!!!

Here's visual evidence of Mario Lopez dancing.

I have to admit that I'm not impressed with him, trained or not. He's used the dimples and nice body stuff for too long. I'm all for Jerry Springer. He's a pretty funny guy.

I met Mario Lopez once and he was a self-important ****, even though he was pretty much the least famous famous person in the room.

Of course he's had previous dance experience. Don't you remember he and Kelly Kapowski took second in The Maxx's Dance Contest with Casey Kasem. Would've won it if Lisa didn't get the sympathy vote with her broken ankle.

Doesn't that pretty much describe everyone who has been on Dancing With The Stars?

Jerry Springer: Keeping marginal strippers and pro wrestlers employed for 15 years (or something)

Sympathy vote? SYMPATHY VOTE?!?!? I know you're not dissing The Sprain.

I hope the dude busts an ankle, Jason Kendall style. He ****ing cheated on the Doritos girl for christ sakes.

That alone is worth a lifetime of pain.

If anything, Lopez should try out for the UFC. ;D

Damn right it was the sympathy vote! All Turtle did was throw her crutches to the side and hop around ... with dumbass Screech mmm-boping around from side to side. ****, even Morris (who couldn't dance a lick to start) and Spano were better than those two.

I read somewhere that she caught him with another guy. I remember Danny Bonaduce making some reference to Lopez as "a fag" on the radio. I think he worked with Lopez on that "View for Men" show that lasted about a month...

I'm sure doing well on Dancing with the Stars won't help that rumor.

I've interviewed a number of celebrities in my time... I've always found the mid- to lower-level celebrities are far, far more self-important and arrogant than those who have struck it HUGE.

I've experienced the same thing. I've been fortunate enough to meet a handful of A-list celebrities over the years at games or SB parties and for the most part they were all cool... I sat next to the host of The Bachelor on a flight and he was a complete **** to everyone who approached him...

Bruce Willis is willing to talk Moonlighting with me at a Super Bowl party, but a ****ing reality host tells a flight attendant to stick it when she asks for an autograph...
