Margaret Cho Syndrome. Lotta folks think they're about 40 percent funnier than they are.
Who said Margaret Cho was funny? :)

I suppose the coaches will be in the next round of layoffs. After all, who needs that layer that makes sure everything is right?

Will knowledge of Major League Baseball be necessary, or will the new hire be stuck watching the Nationals?

Promising young National League ballclub (Hey, a game over .500 is a cause for celebration!) looking for a go-getter (or just someone who won't blow out Strasburg's arm when he returns) who can keep team above .500 (Aw, who're we kidding). Perks include a schedule that features several games with the New York Mets (In front of 20,000 fans) and Florida Marlins (in front of 2,000 fans), and getting to watch the President Races every home game (They're more rigged than the NBA).

3-5 years experience preferred, but not necessary (Because until Strasburg came, nobody recognized us. Not even in our own hometown). Please note that this may be a temporary seasonal position (Because we're sure as hell not making the playoffs).

Please send resume and cover letter (hopefully typed, although written in crayon will do) to: Mike Rizzo (a hardass), General Manager, Washington Nationals (Pay no attention to that Montreal Expos fan behind the curtain), 1500 South Capitol Dr., SE, Washington, DC 20003

Do you need reliable transportation?

I heard they have a couple of hot shots names Steve and Bryce headed to the main desk, soon, and they are bigger than life.

How's the cost of living or will I only be able to afford a place in the sticks?

Don't think of asking for what the last guy made. I don't know how the last manager made what he did.

Wait, DC has a baseball team? When did that happen? ;D

Oh, and if Moddy applies we're all screwed. No use sending in our list of highly exaggerated BS claims resumes.

You'll have coaches, but they'll be based in Atlanta and you'll have to share them with the rest of the division.

Hopefully the manager won't have to write "Saltalamacchia" on the lineup card. That's the type of mistake that can get past a regional copy editing hub.

Uhm, yeah. That's entirely the point isn't it?
Hurry. You're gong to be late for your Mensa meeting.

So you're saying Margaret Cho thinks she's 40 percent funny...

Wasn't there an opening at this place a couple of years ago? That's a lot of turnover ... or are guys moving on to better jobs?
