Christ... I hope I'm not in d_b-ville here....

Thi is a real catch-22.

If an 81-year-old dude can download plans to build a suicide robot and build it successfully so that it actually kills him, he probably didn't need to be hounded by his family to move into a rest home.

Did the robot look like this? Might just be a prototype...

They should charge the robot with murder ...

I bet the family feels awful right now - or relieved that he didn't turn the machine on them.

I bet the robot had a really difficult upbringing. He really shouldn't be blamed here. Society is at fault for not giving this robot a chance to go to school and have a family of his own.

You send suicide robot to prison and he just comes out a bigger, stronger suicide robot with tats.

At least the man spent a lot of time researching it. Other people just jump off bridges or buildings.

With a little encouragement, he could get out on good behavior and maybe get a job as a washing machine.

I'd have sent the tin can after my ungrateful kids. Just sayin.

Good point -- as long as you don't overload it.

Now that would be something spooky. You hear a knock at your door and you look through the peep hole to see a robot standing there with knives in "hand".

Check out some of the comments, particularly about the last line of the story.

I didn't think it needed to be there, but was it that bad?
