At 9 a.m. Tuesday, it was 62 degrees here. By noon, it was 28.

I left for work this morning and it was 5. Right now, it's minus-1. With a predicted low of minus-10 -- colder if the storm moves out and the clouds clear.

We get a super-cold snap like this usually in the second week of December. For November, it's highly unusual. And it's the first official snow of the season in Denver after a bone-dry and warm fall so far.

Here was the bad boy that came through Tuesday.
