TNT of course -- already running.

So far I've watched some classic episodes....

-- the one about the popmpous black guy who was a Wall Street broker that kills his boss because his boss found out he was a fraud and was going to blow the whistle on him. "not only am I better than them Detective Logan, I am better than you."

-- the one about the murder of an abortion doctor

-- the one about the Sex Rangers (the high school kids who make a snuff film raping a girl),

-- the one where the guy blows up a building and he and his lover frame his lover's husband for it

-- And right now the one where the daughter of a guy convicted for murder is arrested for shooting a psychologist who was an expert witness in her father's trial......

This goes on all the way until 10 tonight. I am supposed to be headed to a picninc at 2 -- I honestly have mixed emotions about going now -- I might just blow off the entire day and lay here, drink some beers, grill up some burgers and watch all of these episodes.

I can't imagine a better show has ever been made.

Here is the schedule (Ok I'm officially an addict)....

3:00 PM

7:00 PM
7:00 PM Law & Order - Evil Breeds A holocaust survivor who was about to testify at the deportation trial of a former Nazi is found murdered in her apartment, and there are multiple suspects. On top of the list is the Nazi about to be deported, and the second, a seemingly normal record producer, who is a neo-Nazi in disguise.
8:00 PM
8:00 PM Law & Order - Cost of Capitol A murder victim, a young banking associate, has hundreds of thousands of dollars in a checking account, which may be a clue to the case.

No Ben Stone.
No Robinette.
Damn.
But "refuge" is the best two-parter they ever did, just edging "Torrents of Greed."

"I love that woman."
-- Mike Logan, after Don Masuccis's sister slaps the Don.
Great moment.

One of my favorite new ones is about an OCD guy that pushes the friend of his ex-wife in front of a subway train.

They find out that the guy had his kids brainwashed. Pretty good.

Honestly, I loved the summer of 1999, when TNT showed A&E showed a L&O while CourtTV showed Homicide.

I really didn't know what to watch.

No Mike Bodack and no "The Troubles" the episode that got me hooked on this series. Best opening scene ever.
I was thinking if I was ever charged with murder I'd want Dennis Boutsikarius' lawyer defending me - that sneaky *******. If it was a white collar crime it would be the character Arthur Gold.

The Russian mob duo thisafternoon was classic, but they needed to go back-to-back with Larry Miller...
