I'm sure most are aware of "Keep Calm and Carry On" merchandise that's sold these days. Well, over the weekend, a bunch of parody shirts encouraging violence against women made it onto Amazon.com, containing messages like "Keep Calm and Hit Her" and "Keep Calm and Rape a Lot," and were selling for more than $20 a pop:

The company's excuse is one of the most asinine backpedals I've ever seen.

The great thing about having 23,457 pop culture blind spots is that I never get outraged by any of this stuff . . . because I never see it.
