And it was a hockey game. Shots were 97-7

Love the quotes from the Thai coach:

"They are just an outstanding team," Thailand's American coach Michael Rolanti said of Kazakhstan, which competed in the Turin Winter Olympics.

"I think it was a good game for us because we did not give up."

Can you imagine the score if they did give up?

and

"We only have about 40 guys in the whole country to pick from," said Rolanti.

Amazing stuff:
--The Thai had ONE shot in the first two periods?
--One guy for Kazakhstan had seven goals.
--Kazakhstan won its earlier game 38-0 over that hockey hotbed United Arab Emirates.
--Before their goal, the highlight for the Thais was "when defenceman Terani Harnnarujchai bodychecked one of the linesmen into the boards."

Just think of it this way: The Thailand keeper made 45-saves!

I think of stuff like this when I seen those signs on the highway telling how far it is to cities ahead:

Nashville 138
Chattanooga 19

I wouldn't have minded seeing 5-10 minutes of this, just to see how rapid-fire the onslaught really was.

I just want to see the Thai goal. They had to catch the Kazak goalie sleeping, drinking or enjoying Pad Thai near his bench.

52 goals is almost one a minute. I can only imagine how long that game lasted. You'd think (hope?) they had the decency of using a running clock for the last period.

Prediction: Sergey Ogureshnikov, the goalie who was beaten for Thailand's lone goal, will soon become No. 4 prostitute in all of Kazakhstan.

This was an even bigger butt-kicking than what the Mighty Ducks laid on Trinidad and Tobago. And who's next for the Kazakhs, Iraq?
