Greetings SJ.com!

Been a fan of this place for quite some time. Shoulda done this hella sooner. But I apparently woke up with an extra portion of chutzpah today, so here I am.

I'm grown. I'm married. I have kids and grandkids. I've had a few careers, liked all of 'em. Never had the honor of being a sports reporter, but I am a pretty avid sports fan. Really looking forward to engaging with you all.

Well, most of you...

And because I know how this works, the first round is on me!

Before admittance to the club, you need to tell us a few things.
How do you feel about the designated hitter?
What is your favorite musical group?
What was the last movie you saw in a theater?
How many toes do you have?

Hi Chef2!

Damn, I was really hoping the beer would have been enough.
I like the designated hitter. They're quite useful in alley fights, especially when swinging the designated bat.
In spite of my Funkadelic avatar, Earth Wind & Fire all day, every day.
Last movie I saw in a theater was Get Out. The movie before that, Get Out. The movie before that, Get Out. Still trying to climb out of the sunken place.
10 toes.

Hi QYFW!
Hella great song. I use it in some of my classes when I'm busting bubbles about who plays what kind of music.

@Vombatus Damn straight, she's not the return of Ruben. ;)
(adjusts pronouns, checks new SJ reflection in mirror, smiles, proceeds...)

I figured I had a 49, 49 or 2 percent chance of getting that right, depending on my guess. Sigh...
