Yay or nay? I've heard different viewpoints on the topic, and if it is a decent-to-good sized publication or web platform, wouldn't it be valuable to include the numbers for the type of audience you are writing and reporting for?
Currently have it for my post as a copywriter/corp. communications specialist and here's why...
I am the managing editor of our company's trade magazine. I'm assuming know one has heard of it in the way they may have heard of 38k magazines, or papers. So I put it on there to stress the strength of our readership.
Agree with this, especially if you're applying for something out of state. The editor of a paper in Maine might not know that you're at a 10k in Rhode Island, etc.
