In watching this at work, with the number of pitches Bautista is taking its time they institute a new rule -- add an umpire. If you take 3 strikes, it's an out.

I so agree there should be a pitch limit.

The hitters bring their own pitchers, so if they can't throw strikes, tough ****.

There should be a limit of 20 pitches per batter.

The truth is, whether I like it or not, that there's a decent percentage of people who care about this more than the All-Star Game itself.

Up here the derby is available on the local sports radio station. Don't know if this is the most radio-friendly event.

I covered baseball for about 30 years but I honestly never watched the home run contest, but Bubbler is right. The fans care about it and I onestly don't know why.
