Five inches or so . . . Oh, that's not what you were talking about.

That sound you just heard was SportsJournalists.com Man Nation scrambling for rulers.

Or yardsticks.

More likely pica poles.

Man, you are merciless today.

Hey, if you boys are gonna set them up on tees, I'm gonna hit them as far as possible.

I feel kinda sorry for chazp. He's never getting his thread back.
That's all right, I've learned a lot from this thread. I figured out why (sobbing profusely) my wife giggles each time I ask her if she wants to go in the bedroom.

I'm always happy to help you boys understand the ways of women :D

Hey, wait a minute, I thought women always say size doesn't matter. Are you telling us they're lying?

I think what they say is its girth, if you have ever seen that movie with Cameron Diaz when they are in the Chinese restaurant. Can't remember the name of it, but it's a great scene.

I'm ashamed to be the one to chime in here, but I believe you're referring to one of my wife's favorite films -- The Sweetest Thing.
The scene in question is a song and dance number that is based around the line, "Your penis is too big to fit in here (mouth), too big to fit in here (vajayjay), too big to fit in here (caboose)."
The film has some pretty funny moments. For some reason, the copy of the DVD we have doesn't include this scene, though we got the one with extras on it.

I got Laura to marry me by telling her I was this big:

But really I'm only this big:

Yeah well he's still the biggest ****ing hero in the world.

(C'mon SC of all the softballs--or soft balls--we've lobbed at you today this is the one with the slowest arc...)

Not the tape measure in the tool box?

I figured all you guys had finally found a use for all the pica poles laying around the office.

That's what it's called. I was watching it the other night with my girlfriend and I completely forgot the name of it yesterday. Thanks for the clarification.

You mean there's places that still have pica poles? Didn't those go with of the darkroom and the non-cordless phone?
