Count me in on the Mutual Radio Larry King show, with Jim Bohannon filling in.
As a teen in the mid-1980s, the one piece of radio machinery I did own was this high-end digital radio. Got it for Christmas one year.
Damn, I was in the Midwest and, on certain nights, could pick up Utah Jazz, Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs games from their cities. Got the Suns and Pistons on really clear nights. Cavs games were about 600 miles away but on that WWWE, they were crystal clear every night.
On non-NBA nights, I'd find Larry King and put the radio on 60 minute sleep. As I drifted off, as a 12- or 13-year-old, I learned so much about politics, music, literature, some sports. Actually made me pretty well rounded, looking back.
Also loved Costas Coast-to-Coast on Sunday nights.
