Hostage standoff in N.J.

Haven't seen anything posted on this. Man in Trenton, N.J. -- a registered sex offender with a rap sheet a mile long -- shot his girlfriend and a 13-year-old son, then took three of her other kids hostage and holed up in her house for two weeks. They stayed in one tiny room, with the girlfriend's decomposing body, the whole time.
The cops, who were finally alerted to the situation about two days ago, rushed in early this morning and shot him dead.

I lived 2 blocks down on Grand Street.

So the cops go in and the guy makes "a threatening move" toward the kids and the cops blow him away. He died at the hospital.
