http://www.hsx.com/league/view.php?id=1109&msg=created - I hope this works.

Open to all posters and maybe a lurker or two...

You trade actors and movies like stocks.

It's free.

I say we start open trading a week from now.

If you are already on this, create a new handle so we all start from scratch.

I'm in, once our esteemed admin officially approves the presence of PCLLdoesHollywood.

Brings a tear to my eye, thinking of the late Wall Street Sports site ...

Re: Hollywood Stock Exchange SportsJournalists.com league

Correct, we're not starting trading until we get everyone joined?

I was waaaaay up there at the bitter end, too. Maybe 125th or something.

Yeah, about that whole reasons thing ...

"You, with your ridiculous sayings, and your drills, and those stupid psychology tests that you had everybody take ..."

Pretty good chance you were jostling for position with my Dad. He loved that site and hung around until the very end as well. Whatever happened to it? Seemed to be doing well and seemed to survive the Internet bust, if I recall correctly, before disappearing overnight.

Re: Hollywood Stock Exchange SportsJournalists.com league

OK, we are up to 13 members, and I hope we get a bunch more. I am not placing a cap on the number of members.

We do have one member who already has $63 million or something like that. Do we allow him in the league with that amount or do we have Chet the Jet create a new account and play with $2 mil like the rest of us?

Does "yest gain" keep everything even?

Re: Hollywood Stock Exchange SportsJournalists.com league

I think we all have to start even. You asked people to make a new account if they already had one. I'm not going to start in a $61-million hole.

What was this site everyone is speaking of. I have not heard of it. If it was so popular why doesn't someone bring it back?
