Hate to say I told you so ... but I told you so. ;D

Football players at three schools mark their uniforms in protest of the NCAA. And apparently more are interested in protesting.

Now, if they start covering up the swooshes, then we'll see all hell break loose.

Kind of tough to fine student-athletes who don't have a salary.

I would love to see this take root. I am skeptical that it will, but I'm always skeptical of the big movement changes. I'll be rooting, though, and I would love for nothing more than the lords of football to be holding their dicks as players boycott all conference championship games.

However, even if that doesn't happen, seeing AQB lose his **** on this thread will be a nice consolation prize.

Now watch. The NCAA will pass a rule outlawing personal messages on uniforms. A week or two later a player wanting to cheer up some kid with cancer by putting his name on his shoes will cost a team 15 yards.

The NCAA in a nutshell.

Which is also why it'd be cool to cover up the sneaker logos.

"Well, we're not allowed to have messages. So I covered up the message from the sponsor of this uniform."

AQB loses his **** because the sun comes up in the morning.

Northwestern quarterback Kain Colter made the most visible and obvious display, writing "APU" in large white letters on black wrist tape.

Not new. Brian Bozworth was doing this 28 years ago.

Yeah, but back then, people believed the NCAA was being the selfless guardians of amateurism. Not anymore.
