HELP ME EAT IN CHICAGO!

A group of 7 guys are making our yearly trip to a Cubs game soon and are stumped as to where to eat after the game.
Last year, we hit up Smoque BBQ and loved it. Another year it was Carson's for ribs.
We have not done pizza yet, but aren't sure we want to have to pick a place between Uno (which all of us have been to), Geno's, Giordano's, etc., so we have kind of ruled that out.
Kumas Korner is my first choice, but folks in my group think the wait will be too long.
Any great suggestions for a landmark kind of a place with good eats for a bunch of crocked Cubs fans?

Kind of touristy & it can get crowded. My dad who's always grilled on a Weber was dying to try this place out when he was in town. There was a long wait, but $20.00 got us a table in about two minutes.

There was this kick-ass pizza joint in Evanston, right by Northwestern, about 10-15 years ago I used to go to, but I can't remember what it was called or whether it's still open or not.

I know that's remarkably helpful.

Mrs. Bubbler and I went to a pretty good Thai joint just down the street from Giordano's on Rush Street last November. It was in the basement of a building. Again ... helpful, I know.

Mrs. Fly and I stopped in last October on a Saturday evening (the night the Cubbies were eliminated). The beer they brew is solid, and they always have a handful of excellent guest taps as well. We had the white pie, and it was tremendous. Cool atmosphere, fun place. They had live band karaoke that night, so we hung around longer than we expected but we were thoroughly mesmerized by the "talent" on hand.

I believe Piece is owned, at least in part, by Cheap Trick guitarist Rick Nielsen.

Saturday is always live band karaoke. Only been in there once for that, but it was fun.

Took my brother here when he was in town. He was like, "we're going to a pizza place for dinner?" But he loved it as well. Great beer. Great pizza, and if you go to a Cubs day game, you can watch more baseball here at night.
