Volchenkov takes a 90 mile per hour slapshot off his head, gets 15 stitches and he wants to go in game two.

I love that the only thing potentially holding Volchenkov back from playing is the fact his swollen puck-shaped welt might be too large for a helmet to fit over

No sport comes even close to the punishment these guys take in the playoffs.

And yes, that includes the NFL where they play once a week.
