I used to work with Jim - used his computer, too, when he wasn't there, though I never saw anything improper. And, he is a nice person.
That said, Jim needs to man up and not keep insisting that he's innocent. He was fired from where we worked together because he was viewing porn on a work computer. He was caught again viewing porn at work, which led to this mess. It's easy to trace where somebody's been on a computer. How can you maintain you're innocent when you've left an electronic trail at more than one place?
I hope and pray that he gets the help he needs and can emerge from this as a better person. There's no doubt in my mind that he'll get the good behavior credit that's mentioned in the story. He just needs to face his problem and overcome it. It's up to him and no one else - not his wife (whom I also used to work with and also is a good person) or his daughters.
Jim has to man up. I hope and pray that he does.
