Forget Uber and Lyft

I’m in a Waymo and it’s wild to be in a driverless car. Wonder if it’s sustainable beyond a city (SF).

(Sorry. Dumb joke. For those not familiar with the Bay Area, Colma was created as a necropolis after San Francisco ran out of room for cemeteries. At least 1.5 million people -- famous and unknown -- are buried there.)

My relative, a Phoenix cop, had to retrieve a Waymo after its computer glitched and the car ended in a ditch.
Not a single soul was hurt, because not a single soul was in the car as it drove through city streets before ending in that ditch.

My parents had 11 siblings between them. Even under the most generous count (ones whose parents married into the family following divorces and two who were given up for adoption and we only learned about a couple of years ago) I just have 18.
