Generally, they eventually have done that some in the past, not sure about this year..

that was a great chance to read good writing.

now even the archive of past contests doesn't even list winners from categories below the biggest one.

not sure who's in charge of this but it'd be nice if the old way returned.

Big ups to Rachel George. She won best feature writing with the Wilmington Star-News in a smaller circulation category, but she's with the Orlando Sentinel now on their Florida beat. She's the one who placed in the investigative category last year, right up there with folks from Yahoo! and elsewhere. Works her tail off. I live in Wilmington and used to do some freelance for the paper, and she was always on the go. Glad for her, she totally earns it.
