Good for Love. It's a shame he can't play football anymore, but it could have always been worse. As if I wasn't rooting for Ball State before, I really, really want them to run the table now.

why?

1. I'm a sucker for non-BCS conference teams running the table, because I like the chaos.
2. They nearly won at The Big House two years ago and at Nebraska in 2007. They deserve some luck.
3. Nate Davis is fun to watch at quarterback. And that offense is fun to watch.
4. Most importantly, a good friend of mine is a Ball State grad. He backs my Jayhawks, I back his Cardinals.

4. J-Dub?

Not J-Dub, not Bubbler. But a friend I hit the sports bar with on those rare college football Saturdays off during the season.

Kansas has football fans?

Yep. And in case you didn't notice, KU sold out Memorial Stadium for that titanic matchup with Sam Houston State last week.

Guess there were some issues at the Princeton-Citadel game ...

PRINCETON, N.J. (AP) — A confrontation between Princeton’s marching band and some cadets at The Citadel has the accusations flying.
It happened before and during last Saturday’s football game in Charleston, S.C.
Band leader Alex Barnard told radio station WPRB that some band members were physically assaulted by cadets who felt the band shouldn’t march in an area of campus called the “Avenue of Remembrance.”
Barnard said Citadel officials had put no restrictions on where the band could march.
During the game, a group of cadets surrounded the band and screamed epithets. Police and school officials eventually dispersed the group.
In a statement, Citadel President Lt. John Rosa said cadets have to be held to a higher standard.

In addition to the other 39,000-plus there. For Sam Houston State. Progress.

give it a year or two, oz. self correction is a wonderful thing if you embrace it.

UConn just returned a INT for a TD and is now going for two up 26-21 with 2:45.

No good to a wide open receiver.
