Favorite Cereal?

I'm a Cherrios guy now. But gotta tell two little anecdotes:

1. Anyone remember Quisp? It came out with Quake in the late 1960's. They both lasted a few years -- with Quake dying first -- and then Quisp went underground and was sold under a different name. But Quisp came back a few years ago and is sold at some select stores. (www.quisp.com) Sickeningly sweet, and therefore delicious.

2. I remember flying with a nasty cold one time, thus clogging my ears. The next morning I had a bowl of Cap'n Crunch. Everytime I took a bite of the stuff, it sounded like bombs were going off in my head. Kids, don't try this at home.

I picked up a bag of Choc-Colossal Crunch and it's pretty damn good. It's basically a mix of Captain Crunch and Coco Puffs. It's not too sweet, has a good crunch and you get the chocolate milk at the end because of the chocolate puffs. Oh, and it's cheap because it's a bag from Malt-0-meal.

Two from the 70s that are long gone.
Buc-Wheats, from General Mills, was Wheaties with a maple glaze (not as bad as it sounds).
There was a Chex cereal that was frosted with powdered sugar and had a tie in with Casper the Friendly Ghost.
On a non-cereal note, Pillsbury, had a round swirl pastry that you toasted, then put on the frosting, a pre-Toaster Strudel.
I lost a loose tooth on one of those suckers back in 1975. But they were great.

I've eaten a entire box of Smacks in one sitting ... it's a miracle I've still got all my teeth.

Favorites: CTC, Frosted Cheerios, Smacks, Fruity Pebbles, Wheaties

Dislikes: Anything with raisins

I know I already mentioned this earlier, but I still cannot get enough of my Boo Berry!!!

I was so pissed today when I went to my cabinet and saw an empty box of it sitting there. It appears that when my 7-year-old niece spent the weekend with us she decided to wipe out the entire unopened box of the stuff as breakfast and snack.

The little devil. She's lucky it was her birthday!
