Greetings, all.
Yes, this is a plum. It's not your garden-variety high school basketball gig or college soccer game. And should you fit the bill, you'll thank me later.
I'm looking for freelancers with assignments from LEGITIMATE publications who are interested in visiting, playing and writing about Fallen Oak, the Tom Fazio-designed golf course located 15 minutes outside of Biloxi, Mississippi.
Fallen Oak is owned by the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino and in its two-plus years in existence, has turned up on most "Best of" lists. Most interestingly, it was voted as having one of the "Best 19 Holes in Golf" by Golf Digest.
The $43 million course (yes, you read that right) recently played host to the Golf Channel's "Ryder Cup Captain's Challenge," which pitted Paul Azinger against Nick Faldo.
While we are looking for high-end publications, we are also open to any travel publication. Fallen Oak has not only been mentioned in Golfweek, Golf Digest, et al, but also the likes of Fairways and Greens Magazine and Texas Golfer. Regional publications would be welcome, especially those with airports that fly into Biloxi.
The Beau Rivage will take care of arrangements as you see fit. Interested and qualifying parties can PM me with their pertinent details.
Thanks,
Birdscribe
