I couldn't find another thread on this, so I apologize if it's already been discussed.

Has anybody heard of Express Jet, and has anyone flown on Express Jet? Is it as wonderful as it sounds? Or do you get what you pay for?

A one-way ticket from New Orleans to Birmingham, AL is $49 (w/out taxes included). That's pretty infrickencredible.

Anyone got any info on the company?

They are a company that operates flights for Continental Express and Delta Connection in addition to their own commercial service. I'd say it will be your run of the mill, no frills small jet, more than likely and Embraer.

Free XM radio at every seat. :D

I've flown 'em just the once, and have nothing but good things to say about them.

Glad to know you're doing some research, since it will be my ass in the seat.

You're not paying for it, bud. Research is the least I can do.

Looks like a good deal, but connecting flights would be a *****...

There will be no connecting flights. One-way trip from NOLA to the 'Ham.
