I said "on this site." It's a public forum, used by many of us at work and that is better when more people post. There is also already a precedent for words (and images) that can't be used here. I'm a writer, and I believe in the free use of language. I also understand that language has power, and I'm not sure that words that easily qualify as slurs should be used here.

I get that it's hard to define what words shouldn't be used, and I get the slippery slope argument, and I get that I'm likely in the minority. I just don't think ****'s meme is okay. I'm sure we have gay and lesbian members, and that doesn't seem like a very nice thing for them to see. Yes, it was in a movie. It was in a movie from 1982. Times have changed.
