Admitted this morning he (and seeming Keyshawn Johnson) deliberately predicted a lopsided Patriots win Sunday in order to fire up the Jets' defense.

Who the hell does that? Who the hell admits it?

That's what I thought I heard this AM as well. Please tell me we misinterpreted that.

Then again, does it really matter? TJ didn't catch on quick enough when Rush Limbaugh was spouting off. And now he's trying to backtrack again.

Oh no - that's what he said. He added that he didn't want to pick "another 24-21 score." He wanted to send a message to the Jets. Odd. And, IMO, wrong. That's not what you're there to do.

But, then, ESPN is too close to it now. Has been for awhile, but the whole lot of them are way too close to it.

i didn't hear any of jackson's comments, so i'm just asking, since i'm stunned any talking head would earnestly admit this: is it at all possible t-jack was attempting to 'funny' his way out of being so wrong? you know, like, 'oh, you took my prediction seriously? it was my plan to fire up the jets -- worked perfectly. i'm da man!"
