The 1971 movie with Dennis Weaver is really cool.

His character was the biggest sniveling wuss of all-time.

The truck, meanwhile, was awesome.
He wasn't just a wuss, he was dumb as all hell. Leading evidence of that is he was driving a Chrysler/Dodge product.

According to Wikipedia - or some movie trivia thing, I forget - that's exactly why Spielberg went with a Dodge Dart. It was a wimpy car, painted orange, and Dennis Weaver's character was wimpy too. And here's this bad-ass truck (a '58 Peterbilt, because you're wondering) taking care of business.

I haven't seen this movie in years but desperately want to watch it now.

Wow, a '58 Peterbilt. I bet that'd be worth some money nowadays. They wound up just driving the whole thing off the cliff at the end and ruined it.

**** gaspar gomez. and **** the ****in' diaz brothers! **** 'em all. i bury those cockroaches.

We make $75 million on this deal alone. Seventy-five million. That's serious money, Frank.
