The Kansas City Star sometimes blows up Whitlock's and Poz's mug shots online to make them about the same size. Don't remember if you can further enlarge them or not, but they can look pretty silly.

I honestly think it's possible that whoever did the production on this page simply goofed up and reversed where the small and enlarged photos should be.

No, but it's just on the web. Some sites have default photo sizes, so mugs become huge. KC is an example of that. I'm sure the photo isn't this big in print, and that, to me, is what matters.

Geez, looks like a mugshot from America's Most Wanted. After looking at that pic, I did not want to read the column. He would have been better off not including the pic.
