No new posts for an hour and a half? Mailboxes, on-site and off, filled with Don Johnson spam? Or was it just me?

There has been an incident.

SportsJournalists.com is not the only site affected. Apparently this new hack for this software was just used today for the first time and other forums are reporting the same issues. I'm looking into how I can prevent future incidents.

Thanks, Webby. If it's any help to the cause, I received this fella's spam in my personal email at the same time. Whether or not it was accesssed from the SportsJournalists.com system, I don't know, but would assume so.

When the mass PM went out, it crashed the server. I have a feeling that it only made it to X number of people before the server got overloaded.
