This is pretty impressive, as is the annual $40K-plus tuition.

DAVIDSON, N.C. (AP) -- One of Davidson College's famous perks is the free laundry service for students. Now the school is adding another freebie: watching the Wildcats play in the NCAA tournament's round of 16.

The school's board of trustees set up a fund Wednesday to pay for any student wishing to travel to Detroit to see Davidson play Wisconsin in the Midwest Regional semifinals. Students will get free bus transportation, two nights lodging and a ticket to Friday's game.

Behind sophomore sensation Stephen Curry, Davidson upset Gonzaga and Georgetown last week for the school's first NCAA tournament wins in 39 years.

While the drop-off laundry service and trip to Detroit are free, annual tuition at the exclusive, liberal-arts school is just under $41,000 a year.

They gotta pay people to go to Detroit.

That's not news.

I'm sure they'll love the trip until they get drilled by the Badgers.

Hopefully they'll help cheer Villanova on as they beat the ****ing Jayhawks.

And that's what everyone thought when they played Georgetown ...

Uh, not everybody.

So you had Davidson making it this far? I don't know any of my friends who did ...

Alas, I think it ends tomorrow night.

Uh, not everybody.

The 6 o'clock SportsCenter had an interview with the 13-year-old kid who has one of two perfect brackets in the ESPN tournament challenge.

He picked Davidson to win the whole thing. I'd love to see that, but I doubt it will happen.

Could he collect the $1 million if he's correct with a perfect bracket? I thought the winner needed to be above the age of 18.

I have them going to the elite eight, but I'm now regretting that as I don't see them getting past Wiscy.

Good for Davidson. Better for the hardy students willing to make the journey.

The implication is just as strong as the story ... you're not suddenly some lout who doesn't care about classes or education because of going on a road trip.

And dreunc, kudos to your fellow supporters for helping them along in the stands during the games. Class move.

Did anyone catch the kid's interview on ESPN? He said followed college basketball mostly out of the newspapers and some online, since he didn't have TV. Take that, Internets.

Unless I'm mistaken, they're not perfect brackets -- they've just got the right final 16. I think they each missed a bunch of first-rounders.

They each missed like 3 first round games. Thats it. ****ing unbelievable. Every year there is some smartass that calls 99% of the games.
