I'll miss him. I have always enjoyed his contributions to telecasts.

If anyone here thinks he is annoying or didactic, please consider these two words:

I would like there to be a dozen more Dan Dierdorfs and one fewer Jon Grudens on TV.

That being said... (Fouts jacking this mother) Dan Fouts ... I can see why he's bumped from college and good pro games to C list NFL games. He's pretty **** poor anymore.

To me, Criqui's voice hasn't faded with age the way Scully's & Enberg's, understandably have. Anybody else get that feeling?

Agree wholeheartedly. I really enjoyed listening to him do the Patriots game.

Listen to this clip. He called Tom Dempsey's field goal. He sounds the same then as now.

I watched the Pats game, to me Criqui will always remind me of Orange Bowl games on New Year's Day night.
