One of the greatest shows ever, so I'm definitely in. Who else is watching?

Then have him come back in the third, because it was all just a dream? ;D

DVR is set. Early morning for me (alarm at 6 a.m.) so I probably won't watch it until tomorrow or Friday.

I can't wait! My friends and I have been counting down.

Can't wait. Watched the entire show in reruns on TNN my first year out of college, my best friend also watched it 70 miles away at his first job. We'd get together once a week to play golf and talk about Dallas. Go figure.

Texas Monthly gave the new Dallas a strong review, and I like their reviewer. Same issue also had a very good profile on Larry Hagman (behind paywall or I'd post).

Is it really new seeing as the two main characters are headlining the reboot?

Who said new? He said "starts again" which would imply a continuation.

Was going to watch but there was a CFL preseason game between my Hamilton Ticats and those gutless pukes from my city, the Toronto Argonauts.

Toronto won, but what the hell, it's pre-season. :)

Since its on TNT, I'm hoping the drop in some s-bombs. But I'm kind of predisposed to hate this show since they announced it days after canceling Men of a Certain Age.

I was too young to watch most of the orginal series, but I remember the how crazy my parents were about the show. I watched the reruns on TNN too.

The show was okay from what I saw. Dr. J started whining so I had to turn it off, but I have it on DVR for tomorrow.

Yeah, busted.

Pretty good tonite. Hagman's still got it. Heck, Linda Gray doesn't look bad for 72.

Original was great until they got away from the family and focused too much on Ewing Oil and brought in all the characters like JR's illegitimate son and Bobby's second wife's sister and George Kennedy's character and his stupid son. LOVED the original until the last couple of years. (And Sue Ellen still looks great at 71.)
