GWU published paper on the evolution of men throwing, going back 2 million years.

This evolutionary study suggests women evolved into girly throwers because they were holding the babies.

Mythbusters busted that stupid, sexist myth wide open. There is no biological difference between men and women throwing: only practice.

When girls (or boys) aren't allowed to play sports, or are discouraged from throwing objects ... surprise, surprise, they don't learn how to throw properly.

A college friend had been a wrestler his whole life but never played any ball sports at all. He threw worse than just about any girl I've ever seen despite being a physical freak. We couldn't even play catch with him. He was the worst male softball player I've ever seen and made most girls look good.

One of my buddies from high school was like that. He was one of the best wrestlers my high school had ever had, but he was inept at best when it came to playing basketball or baseball.

Look at John Wall and some other NBA players we've seen recently throw out first pitches.

Does this explain Ryan Zimmerman?
