Cox takes Austin off the market

I know there is a Cox topic already about selling off Waco, but I think this deserves its own headline. Cox has decided the offers for the Austin American-Statesman weren't substantial enough and has taken the paper off the market.

Given how tightly spaced those other sales were, one can only conclude that Cox decided to take whatever offers were made for the ones that did sell. That they didn't sell Austin has to say something about how poor the offers were.
