Obviously with the Dateline programs, anyone who gets caught is pretty stupid. But a State Trooper to get caught has got to be the ultimate.

A Michigan State Police sargeant from Macomb County was scheduled for arraignment this afternoon on charges of using the Internet to solicit a minor after his arrest in a sting operation set up the state attorney general's office.
Sgt. Kevin Hardoin, 45, of Chesterfield Township, has been suspended without pay pending the outcome of the charges, a total of 13 felonies alleging the use of a computer to accost a minor and using a computer to disseminate sexually explicit matter to a minor.
Hardoin allegedly believed he was chatting online with a 13- and 14-year-old girls, Attorney General Mike Cox said in a statement.
According to state records, Hardoin was a coordinator for the Monroe chapter of the Safe Kids program, and Cox's office urged parents to check their children's buddy lists for the screen name "ragin_37." If parents suspect there was contact, the attorney general's office can be reached at 313 456-0180.
