This thread is almost as long as the one about the 9-year-old killed in Chicago, a kid you've shown you don't care about.
... caring about anything that doesn't allow them to act smugly and **** on people who disagree with them. I'm certainly guilty of that at times.
This doesn't appear to be, as Jay suggests, an open-and-shut case we'd be better off ignoring.

See my post on that thread. I've been following that story, too. Look, I don't want to get bogged down in dealing with a loser whose only quasi-joy comes from predictable and boring posts on this site.
Anyway, yeah, dq. My first thought is that it's some kind of contract killing and/or drug-related matter.
Why does Mr. Sunshine only care when black cops shoot kids?
Doesn't sound like either of these guys should have been cops. One was indicted for rape -- twice. Also sounds like the reason behind the shooting was petty bull****, making the boy's death even more tragic.

Think of city marshals as like a court bailiff.
And this very much appears to be a case where the city marshal decided to kill the guy and the kid got caught up in the shooting.
One was a cop, the other was a reserve officer.
I don't know if a reserve officer is considered sworn law enforcement in Louisiana or not.
In lots of places, a reserve officer just means you like to play dress up.
